Youth Protection Training, Face to Face Changes

We are happy to announce that the new 2018 BSA Online Training meets Texas State Requirements and has been approved to replace Face to Face (F2F) Youth Protection Training (YPT)!  All future Face to Face YPT classes are now cancelled and those needing Youth Protection Training to stay current or to be able to go to a council camp should take it online at my.scouting.org

Please note: Anyone who has recently taken F2F training and/or has an unexpired F2F YPT card – the card will be accepted at Circle Ten Council Summer Camps and Day/Twilight Camps this year.  Those who have not taken F2F Training or have an expired F2F card will be required to take the online YPT training through my.scouting.org and will need to print their certificate to show for validation upon arrival at camp.

For Twilight Camp

If you an adult going to Twilight Camp you still need the Twilight Camp Orientation and they are still being held as scheduled.

Adults that have a Face to Face card valid through mid-June can be accepted for camp. Those using the new online YPT for camp need to print the certificate for camp.  Individuals that complete the new online training should email course completion certificate to twilightcamp@lonestardistrict.org
